FOR 3 DAYS, FACING THE PYRENEES, THE CITY CENTER OF PAU IS TRANSFORMED INTO AN AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM !
For the first time, the whole Boulevard des Pyrénées (from the Palais Beaumont to the Castle of Pau) will gather dozens of collectors coming from all over France and Europe (Spain, Portugal, etc.). These collectors will offer an impressive roundup of exceptional cars, all of them are pre-79 or invited as “Happy Few” !
Vintage cars enthusiast will be able to travel back in time during 3 days, while wandering on the real balcony of the Pyrenees, one of the most beautiful exhibition venues in France and Europe.
In 2022, Pau brings together the history of the automobile and becomes an open-air museum.
Each year, more than 400 dream cars were exhibited for 3 days in the heart of the Parc Beaumont. From now on, the entire Boulevard des Pyrenees will be the scene of the Collectors’ Expo, which will take on a new dimension in order to welcome enthusiasts in the best possible conditions with a free space for their vintage vehicles (still Pre-79 or Happy Few).
The public will have access to these legendary cars on the most beautiful squares of the city (Square Aragon, Place Royale, Place de la Déportation…) which will be animated by bands performing among the old models. The aim is to make this event a popular and festive one, encouraging exchanges and discoveries.
Last, but not least, you will now be able to enjoy, during the 3 days, the dynamism of a city centre, designed to celebrate your presence with an enhanced programme around classic grand prix competitions, parades and other highlights: The Night of the Legends (Friday 20th May at 8 pm at the Palais Beaumont), state contest for cars, Collectors’ Club, Automobile Village, Drivers’ Club… Thanks to your attendance, the city of Pau will be able to offer one of the finest exhibitions of classic cars!
